Our team follows a lawn fertilization treatment schedule that works for the lawns in our area. When you sign up for this service, we will visit your property 7 times a year from February to December to administer our treatments to provide your grass with nutrients that promote lush grass and strong roots. This program also includes weed control treatments, a grub treatment, and a lime treatment. Here's how our lawn care schedule looks:
- End of February to early March: Our first visit is in the early spring to apply our premium granular fertilizer to your lawn to give your grass a boost as it enters into active growth again. We'll also administer a pre-emergent weed control treatment to get ahead of weeds that may emerge around summer.
- April/May: Our next visit is in the late spring for a follow-up application of our granular fertilizer to get your lawn in a good, resilient state to endure summer conditions. Our crew will also apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment to keep crabgrass weeds from sprouting on your lawn.
- June: Our third and fourth treatments are in June. We'll apply a grub control treatment and micronutrient treatments to ensure your lawn's survival for the summer season. Our grub control treatment will prevent these destructive pests from wreaking havoc on your lawn while our micronutrient applications are infused with kelp to provide your lawn with everything it needs to withstand the summer heat.
- August: Our fifth visit involves post-emergent weed control treatments to eliminate crabgrass, nutsedge, nimblewill, and other grassy weeds that emerged in the summer.
- September: Our sixth visit includes a fall fertilizer treatment that is packed with extra nitrogen content to bolster your lawn's growth and help it recuperate from any stress caused by the summer season.
